Terms and Conditions
CMC (Camden Muslim Community) have a restricted Funeral Fund. This comprises the donations given by the
beneficiaries of the fund. Whenever the funds accumulated from the donations reach the minimum cost of covering
one funeral, the funds will be used to cover that cost of the funeral if applicable. The Funeral Fund will continue to
operate in this manner.
An inheritor of a deceased person may apply for assistance from the Funeral Fund to the CMC Chairperson for
consideration. If the application is accepted, the CMC Chairperson will authorize payment for that funeral cost. This
dispensation may not exceed the sum agreed upon annually by the trustees in light of average prices for a funeral.
All beneficiaries of the fund will be obliged to equally share the responsibility of replenishing the amount of money
deducted from the fund.
Any money donated specifically for the Funeral Fund will not be used except for the purpose of paying for one’s
funeral. This means that the funds are restricted and can not be used for any other purpose.

i) Be a resident of the UK
ii) Be aged between 18 – 60 years old

iv) Maintain payment of £12 per annum as an administration fee to be paid at the beginning of each

Failure to adhere to the above payments for a period of 3 months will lead to a possible suspension or
termination of membership.
